Sara Hardman Travels is Growing!

It’s exciting to reach my first year of blogging at Sara Hardman Travels and amazing to see how much my life has changed over the past 12 months.

I began the blog after spending a lot of time backpacking and also living in Australia. I needed a way to record all the memories and share the experiences gained in two years away from home.  During the past year I’ve only left the country three times – practically unheard of for me!

Then: Birthday on Bondi

My life is changing and so is Sara Hardman Travels. In the past 12 months I’ve met an amazing boyfriend and moved in together, I’ve seen more of the UK than I ever have before, I’ve loved being in my full-time job, learnt to cook (averagely), done some DIY (moderately) and am currently exchanging my city apartment for a family-sized home in the suburbs – I’d never have believed it a year ago.

I’m not looking at it as hanging up my backpack; I’m just buying the matching suitcase. With wheels.

Now: I baked a cupcake bouquet – things have changed!

To celebrate this blogging birthday, Sara Hardman Travels will be growing up with me and expanding to cover lots more than backpacking. I love all things travel, beauty, lifestyle, food, leisure, luxury and photography; so expect lots of wider ranging posts very soon.

I hope you like the new style and thank you so much for following the blog through its journey. It’s really great to have you along for the ride.

    1. Hi Ahmed
Thank you for visiting my blog. I’ve just found yours – your photos are really stunning. I’m currently trying to learn more about photography so I’ll take inspiration from your site 🙂

      1. Thanks a lot Sara. You are always welcome anytime 🙂 In general I do get my photography ‘theoretical’ readings from the Internet, but I am also thinking of getting into a good online program to study photography formally. Will keep you posted with the findings 🙂
